Practice your 40K games online, without the table.
Table time is hard to come by. Travel, schedules, no opponent this week, an event you're prepping for with barely any reps in. 40 Carrot lets you set up a true-scale board in your browser, get your actual army on it, and play the game through, then step back and review what happened so the next one goes better.
What you get
- A true-scale board and your real army. A 44-inch by 60-inch battlefield with 11th Edition layouts and real base sizes, so a practice game plays like the real thing.
- A full game, start to finish. Measuring, dice, damage odds, coherency checks, and objectives are all built in. Nothing to alt-tab to.
- A board-aware AI advisor. It reads the units, terrain, and objectives on your board, so you can pressure-test a plan before you commit and review your decisions after.
- A snapshot timeline. Save game slices to it as you play, then tap back through them to review the game or re-run a position (Full Access).
Playing on the board is free with a free account, and the damage calculator needs no account at all. Full Access is $4 a month or $33 lifetime and adds AI list import, the board-aware AI advisor, and the snapshot timeline.
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Playing on the board is free with a free account, and the damage calculator needs no account at all. Full Access ($4 a month or $33 lifetime) adds AI list import, the board-aware AI advisor, and the snapshot timeline.
Do I need an opponent?
No. You run both sides. That's most of the point: rehearse a deployment, play a turn from each chair, and reset instantly to try it a different way.
Does it support 11th edition?
Yes. Boards, mission layouts, coherency checks, and the damage calculator follow Warhammer 40K 11th Edition, with true 44-inch by 60-inch battlefields and real base sizes.
Do I need to install anything?
No. 40 Carrot runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. Open the site, sign in, and the board is there.
