A unit’s written movement does not tell you whether ten bases fit behind a ruin, whether the support character keeps pace, or whether the formation can turn through a lane. Put the real model count and base sizes on the tabletop. Practice the shapes, not only the distances.
How do you build a useful threat map?
Mark the ranges that actually change your plan. Threat Range can show movement, movement plus a maximum 12-inch charge ring, or fixed shooting ranges.
