Get a useful 40K rep in, one lesson at a time.

Pick the job in front of you: set the true-scale 60 by 44 inch battlefield, bring in your army, work through a deployment, or replay the turn that went wrong. Each short walkthrough gets you from an empty browser tab to the part you actually want to practice.

Getting Started

Get a 40K Rep In Anywhere | Getting Started with 40 Carrot

Open a true-scale 40K Virtual Tabletop in your browser, place a few units, and start working through the turn you want to practice.

Quick steps

  1. Open 40 Carrot in your browser and load a preset map from Maps.
  2. Add a few units and drag them around the true-scale table.
  3. Measure the ranges that matter and roll the dice for the line you are testing.
  4. Save your Virtual Tabletop, or share a link so a friend can open it.

Building a Battlefield

Load a mission layout, adjust the terrain, and put the objectives where the game needs them at true tabletop scale.

Quick steps

  1. Open Maps and load a ready-made mission layout.
  2. Drag terrain to fine-tune the table, or add your own pieces from Terrain.
  3. Drop objectives where the mission needs them.
  4. Lock terrain so nothing shifts while you play.

Deploying Your Army

Create or import the units you use, keep their real base sizes, and put the whole roster straight into its deployment zone.

Quick steps

  1. Open Units in the sidebar, give your unit a name and base size, and place it on the table.
  2. Open its datasheet and type in its stats and weapons from your own book.
  3. Right-click the model (or a selected group) and choose "Add to library" to save it for every future game.
  4. Find it under your saved units and deploy it straight into your zone.
  5. To remove one, right-click it in your library and choose "Remove from library".
